Connecticut Innovations is hosting our second Connecticut Climate Tech Social on Wednesday, May 24, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Parkville Market (1400 Park Street, Hartford, CT). These events are part of CI’s climate-focused series to create relationships between environmental innovators and give the state’s green ecosystem an opportunity to network and discuss relevant climate-related ideas.

Speakers include:

• Katie Dykes, Commissioner of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP): Commissioner Dykes has more than 10 years of experience leading green initiatives, including previous roles with Connecticut PURA, Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, Inc., the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the U.S. Department of Energy.
• Jeff Cohen, VP of Sales, Cambium Carbon: A champion for sustainability, Jeff leads sales for Cambium Carbon, a circular economy startup reforesting America by enabling local wood economies.
• Jonathan Fife, CEO, Bright Feeds: As the company’s leader, Jonathan helps companies meet their sustainability goals and increase profit margins through innovative food waste-to-animal feed recycling services
